A Bronx woman claims six officers bombarded her apartment Thursday night with bulletproof vests but no uniforms.
The NYPD Internal Affairs Unit is investigating.
Danielle Douglas says she and her sister awoke at 4 a.m. to the sound of officers banging on the door, yelling that they had a warrant, though she says they never showed it.
“As I opened the door, the officer right here on the right hand side pointed a gun at me to my head,” says Danielle’s sister Shayba, who went on to say that she quickly shut the door and called her lawyer.
Shayba Douglas then called the police as instructed by her lawyer.
The sisters say they told the officers at the door that police were on their way.
News 12 is told that the second set of police showed badges when they arrived and went on to question the women.
The women say investigators also visited their complex Friday asking questions about the incident.
