Kids paint mural on NYCHA building to promote peace

An art project at a NYCHA complex in Castle Hill is brightening a building and inspiring young people in the area.
Two artists from the organization Groundswell worked with 17 youths in the area to paint the mural on the Castle Hill Houses.
The goal of the murals is to promote a positive change in the community.
"We asked the youth to reflect on the question, 'what does peace mean to you?'" says artist Mason Eve. "They came up with a variety of things."
Organizers say they hope the mural sparks discussions on how to improve the community even further.
