Officers deliver baby after making house call in the Bronx

Two officers from the Bronx are being credited for delivering a baby after making a house call.
The incident happened Monday around 3 a.m. when officers received a 911 call for a woman going into labor inside her West Farms apartment.
Seventeen-year NYPD veteran Officer Doris Vega and her partner Officer Timothy Canniff, of the 48th Precinct, were the first to arrive at the home before EMS could respond.
Vega says she helped the mother deliver the baby just as she was going into shock.
She says it's not the first time she has delivered a baby either.
Earlier on in her career she helped deliver a baby on Halloween.
