A unique exhibit has opened at New York’s Wave Hill, a place that has given opportunities for many young artists to shine.
The Call and Response Gallery is officially open at Wave Hill’s Sunroom Space Project, a collection of 60 local artists’ work.
Wave Hill has been a space committed to supporting local art, and the Sunroom Space has furthered that, offering a showcase for young, emerging artists.
Many alums of the gallery have credited the area for launching their careers, and the new exhibit features galleries of the past, calling back to many pieces that had been featured on the walls before.
The Call and Response Gallery will run through Dec. 3, and anyone is able to take a free, guided tour on Tuesday and Saturdays at 2 p.m.
