New 9/11 memorial opens at Hutchinson Metro Center

A new Sept. 11 memorial has opened at the Hutchinson Metro Center.
James Scheflen lost his cousin in the attacks just over 16 years ago.
"He was on the 102nd floor..when the planes hit," Scheflen says. "He had no way of escaping or getting out of the building."
The memorial at the Metro Center features a piece of steel beam from the twin towers, donated by the Port Authority.
Scheflen says he's grateful for the memorial and that he hopes it will keep the memory of perished loved ones alive.
More than 100 Bronx residents died in the attacks.
