Police say a man was shot overnight near Pelham Parkway South.
Police arrived to the scene on Cruger Avenue near Lydig Avenue, a location just around the corner from the busy White Plains Road and Pelham Parkway South intersection, just before 11 p.m.
Investigators say shots were fired, hitting an 18-year-old man twice, once in the hand and once in the torso.
The victim’s gunshot injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. He received medical treatment overnight at Jacobi Medical Center.
The victim is said to have traveled to the hospital in a private vehicle.
Police tell News 12 three male suspects involved in the shooting were last seen driving away from the scene on Pelham Parkway in a green SUV.
