Vigil held in Crown Heights to condemn hate

A vigil was held at the Brooklyn Museum Sunday night in response to two nooses found in the borough earlier this month.
The vigil against hate was organized by Get Organized BK.
One of the nooses was found outside the Brooklyn Museum.  The second noose was discovered at a library in Bed-Stuy.
Protestors say they need to drive out threatening behavior with togetherness. Residents say they hope to send a message of unity and condemn hate.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force continues to investigate the incidents.
