BX to lose 206 mail drop-off boxes

The United States Postal Service plans to remove 206 mail collection boxes from Bronx neighborhoods, leaving some residents feeling underserved.
"It seems like the people in the wealthier areas of New York City are not seeing these cuts," says Nora Taggart, of the New York Area Postal Union.
A spokesperson for the Postal Service did not immediately respond to News 12 requests for comment.
The Postal Service's inspector general said last year that the number of collection boxes has declined significantly nationwide.
