Police have released the video of the car they say was used in a deadly hit-and-run that happened on Macy Place on Tuesday.

Officials say the driver was in a red Jeep Grand Cherokee when the accident happened.

They say the victim, 49-year-old Dennis Gandarilla, was trying to buy a jacket from the driver when the suspect sped off with Gandarilla still hanging onto the passenger side.

Gandarilla was dragged four blocks. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
