Police-involved shooting injures 2 people in Manhattan

A police-involved shooting shooting injured two people in Manhattan Sunday.
Police say a man was shot and wounded Sunday afternoon near West 143rd Street and Riverside Drive.
Officials say the man charged at two officers after they were responding to reports of an emotionally-disturbed man with two knives.
One of the officers shot the man in the leg. Emergency response units say two people were taken to Saint Lukes Hospital, with one in serious condition and the other in critical condition.
They say one of the injured victims was the knife-wielding man. There is no word who the second person injured was.
