The lights on one street in Mount Eden have been out for months, according to residents.

One man says he contacted officials about the street lights being out, and nothing has been done.

Neighbors say lighting up the community can help deter crime and give them peace of mind while walking the streets at night.

News 12 contacted the Department of Transportation, which says it did not know about the situation but will send someone to check it out.
