A house of worship in the Bronx is in danger of being sold.
The Islamic Cultural Center of North America is the only building in the state where a mosque, synagogue and a church peacefully co-exist under one roof.
Now, services have been stopped because of a delinquent tax debt on the building. A public auction is scheduled for Dec. 12
The chairman of the center, Sheikah Musa Drammeh says the purpose of uniting all of God's children is important in today's world, to "counter the tide of Islamic radicalism."
Drammeh says the title of the building was under a limited liability company instead of nonprofit, which is what it is.
The center will be given first priority in buying the building back when it goes up for auction. Officials say they already have one benefactor offering $1 million.
