Police: Man tried to run officers down in Milford

Posted: Updated:
MILFORD -

Police in Milford say a routine noise complaint ended with a violent arrest of a man after he tried to run their officers down.

Police received reports of John Katrick, 47, blasting music Sunday afternoon inside his car at his house on Home Acres Avenue.

According to police, Katrick refused to get out of his car and repeatedly threatened to "Bring Satan to their souls."

Police say Katrick eventually drove toward the officers, but turned his car and drove over a neighbor's yard.

News 12 is told officers had to use a Taser gun on Katrick to make the arrest.
