THE BRONX -

Police have released video of a man wanted for attempted rape in the Bronx.

The attack happened at Concrete Plant Park on Bruckner Boulevard earlier this month.

Authorities say a woman was walking when a man reportedly hit her in the back of the head, causing her to pass out. When she woke up, the man was reportedly on top of her rubbing his body on hers.

Police say the woman tried to fight the man off, but he bit her lip and punched her in the face. They say the man eventually fled and the woman was treated at the hospital. She received 150 stitches on her lip.

The suspect is being described as about 6 foot 4, 250 pounds and wearing a Chicago Bulls hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
