Soundview church prepares Thanksgiving meal for those in need

SOUNDVIEW -

The Green Pasture Baptist Church in Soundview made sure everyone in the community had a hot meal this Thanksgiving.

Organizers said no food was expected to be left over from the church's annual "Feed the Homeless" dinner. Previous years have seen more than 800 people in attendance.

The meal was not just for the homeless, but for anyone who needed a bite and some company.

The church has been hosting the dinner since 1989. All of the food is homemade and donated by local leaders.
