THE BRONX -

Three Bronx community boards voted in favor of a plan to rezone 90 blocks of Jerome Avenue Monday.

The Bronx Borough Board along with 3 other community boards voted in favor of the plan.

The plan would convert over 90 blocks along the avenue to allow for mixed use buildings and the construction of residential developments.

Affordable housing developments would also be included in the plan.

City Council members are expected to discuss the plans beginning next year.
