Boogie Down Bites: Havana Café

Havana Café has been serving up Cuban cuisine in the Bronx for nearly a decade.
Owners of the Cuban-inspired restaurant say there are plenty of Puerto Rican and Dominican restaurants in the Bronx.
They say that ended up being the deciding factor for opening their restaurant.
The eatery serves traditional Cuban dishes like the Cuban sandwich and Churasco, a dish made of grilled skirt steak, tomato escabeche, smoked bacon and moro de mami.
The owners say they have also listened to their customers over the years.
They have added more vegan options to their menus including more salads.
