Bronx cheerleaders make history

A group of Bronx middle school cheerleaders are making history as they compete in the national championship.
The P.S. 89 Panthers cheerleading squad recently won a bid to nationals.
They are the first middle school cheerleading squad from the Bronx to earn a spot to compete.
The sixth through eighth-graders all have an 87 or above GPA, according to their coaches.
They are now rising funds to make the $30,000 trip to Orlando, Florida.
