MORRISANIA -

At least three people were seriously injured in a Bronx fire last night, officials say.

The fire broke out Sunday around 11 p.m. on Simpson Street in Morrisania.

The fire quickly spread from the first floor throughout the rest of the house.

Fire officials say the fire took about an hour to knock down and around 100 firefighters responded.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
