A 22-year-old man is accused of attempting to abduct a 9-year-old boy from a school in the Bronx, police say.
Warrens Cupidon, 22, was arrested after a school security guard witnessed the man grab a 9-year-old boy at St. Brendan's Catholic School Wednesday.
The guard alerted nearby officers, who made the arrest.
Cupidon faces charges of unlawful imprisonment, harassment and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
The archdiocese says the boy, a fourth-grader, and all of its other students who were playing for recess at the time are safe.
