Man injured in Melrose shooting

A man was shot in the shoulder in the Bronx Friday, police say.
The incident happened on E. 153rd Street and Melrose Avenue just after 3 a.m.
Police say they arrived on scene after receiving calls of shots fired and found the 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
He was transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
Police say no arrests have been made, and the victim is not cooperating with police.
