La La Anthony hosts winter wonderland charity event

La La Anthony hosted a winter wonderland charity event for kids in the Bronx.

The event took place at Gauchos Gym in the Bronx Thursday evening. Students from the Young Women's Leadership School of the Bronx and their partner school I.S. 117 Joseph H. Wade were invited to celebrate the holiday season.

The Brooklyn native is a New York Times bestselling author and TV personality who came to fame in the early 2000s.

"A lot of these kids you know don't have much they are down on themselves there's a lot to bullying going on in the world right so I want lift their spirits up," Anthony says.

There were also live performances by Fabolous and Dave East.

"It's a chance to give back to see the kids having fun for the holidays dancing and having a good time we're giving away toys food we just want to have a great loving environment for the kids," Anthony says.
