Bronx restaurants were ready to take on a large amount of orders Sunday as New Year’s Eve celebrations got underway.
Patricia's, a popular Throgs Neck Italian food spot, was cooking about double the amount of pizza pies than a usual Sunday, while crowds piled in for their favorite dishes for lunch and dinner.
Restaurant manager Joey Pecora has created a family feeling for employees and customers alike at Patricia's, which has been in business for almost 30 years.
Pecora said staff would be making deliveries as late as 11 p.m. Sunday, with a New Year's bash going from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
