Neighbors in Belmont came together Monday night to hold a vigil for four family members who died in Thursday's deadly fire on Prospect Avenue.
Karen Francis, her two children and niece died the fire, the deadliest in New York City in over 25 years.
"We were the last ones who came down from the fire escape and when I looked up I was like 'there's no way my aunt is going to get out,'" says Kaidan Blake, Francis' niece.
Ambrozine Stewart, the matriarch of the family, says that one family member is still at the hospital "hanging on by a thread."
