SOUNDVIEW -

Residents across the Bronx started to dig out with temperatures set to plummet Friday.

The storm brought high winds and tons of snow to the Bronx, making it tough to get around Thursday.

The Cross Bronx Expressway is clear, but officials urge drivers to take it slow with icing possible. Side roads are a concern heading into Friday, since New York City schools are in session.
