Residents across the Bronx started to dig out with temperatures set to plummet Friday.
The storm brought high winds and tons of snow to the Bronx, making it tough to get around Thursday. 
The Cross Bronx Expressway is clear, but officials urge drivers to take it slow with icing possible. Side roads are a concern heading into Friday, since New York City schools are in session.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS: List of closings 
The Department of Sanitation commissioner said if we don't see pavement now, then we might not see it for a few more days.
News 12's Eric Steltzer was also in Van Nest where he spoke with a tow truck company that was really busy Thursday.
Temperatures are expected to dip into the teens and single digits.
