Officers donate gifts to children in Puerto Rico for Three Kings Day

Members of the Latino Court Officer Society have returned to the Bronx with smiles after hand delivering gifts to children in Puerto Rico for Three Kings Day.
"We want to give people a different side of the court," Officer Mark Hirschman says.
The Latino Court Officer Society collected thousands of gifts to commemorate Three Kings Day.
The gifts were collected not only for children living in shelters in the Bronx, but for those still recovering from Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
“We want to let them know that we are here and we are here to help," Hirschman says.
The society hopes the act of kindness will improve the relationship between the public and court officers.
