A Yonkers woman says it took a full week to get her car out of an encasement of ice caused by a water leak in a nearby home.
Lauren Cokeley says she asked for help from the city and multiple tow companies, but nobody responded.
"The street is covered in ice. A quarter of the lane is taken out. The sidewalk has been iced for the whole week. I'm not the only one that has a complaint in the neighborhood," says Cokeley.
Cokeley says she has finally had her car towed away to an auto body shop Saturday. She says she will speak to the city on Monday and find out what's next.
