A man has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after police say he shot and killed his ex-girlfriend and her daughter in the Bronx.

Jorge Vega, 52, died at Jacobi Medical Center Thursday.

Vega is accused of fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend Susan Trivino and her 29-year-old daughter Suchari Guzman inside their Soundview apartment on Jan. 10.

Trivino and Vega allegedly both met while working as bus drivers for the MTA.

Police say Vega had a volatile relationship with Trivino in recent months, and according to his family, he was battling alcoholism.

A domestic incident report was filed with the NYPD four months ago.
