A pair of identical twin rap artists from the Bronx hopes their entrepreneurial spirit and love of music will inspire others.
Rell and Dell, better known as Bronx Twins, have their hand in just about everything from creating music, making clothing out of their apartment and directing their own web series.
"We put our ideas together then we sit down, chop it up with each other and then I love when we see the final product," Rell says.
Their web series, 5 Boros, details life growing up in New York City and how young people get through it.
The series shares several parallels with how the two grew up in the John Adams Houses.
It was awarded best long web series by the Urban Web Series awards in 2017.
The twins also released a hit song '1 hunnit,' produced from inside Plug Studios on E. Tremont Avenue.
They say with all they create, their goal is to inspire others.
They also say donating back to the community at least once a month is part of their message.
"If I could help someone else, and I'm just doing my day and it's helping somebody, then that’s perfect,” Dell says, “We're just trying to, how do you say, uplift everybody.”
