NYPD: Man hospitalized after being stabbed on Clay Avenue

A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed on Clay Avenue.
A call was made for an assault in progress at 1690 Clay Ave. around 10:45 a.m. Saturday.
Several NYPD units responded to the scene, canvassing the apartment building.
One witness who saw the victim standing in front of her apartment building bleeding says she has known him since he was a child. 
"I was coming out of my house and I saw him and he was all stabbed up," Bernice Forbes says. "He got stabbed in the eye and got stabbed on his side two times." 
EMS crews say the victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
