Best Buy to stop selling CDs

NEW YORK -

Best Buy announced it will stop selling music CDs.

According to Billboard.com, Best Buy plans on pulling all CDs out of their stores by July this summer.

The compact disc sales were down 18.5 percent last year.

Sources suggest the company's CD business is only generating about $40 million annually

Meanwhile, vinyl records are enjoying a resurgence in popularity.
