Morning snow transitioned into rain on Wednesday, making for another messy evening commute in the Bronx.

For pedestrians, the sleet made it difficult to walk without slipping or falling on sidewalks.

Drivers dealt with saturated and slippery conditions on most Bronx roads.

The snow and slush on the roads from the morning's precipitation was washed away by the rain. But drivers were still urged to be careful, as lingering puddles could turn to ice as temperatures drop.
