The Bronx's own The Kid Mero got a special honor from a local official.

Rep. Adriano Espaillat issued a proclamation this week recognizing the comedian's efforts to provide a "unique perspective that viewers across the nation are longing to hear" as one half of the duo Desus and Mero.
