Police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting in a Norwood apartmenr building that sent one person to the hospital.

Authorities arrived at a six-story Decatur Avenue building after neighbors say they heard a loud bang around 11 a.m.

The noise was a gunshot that struck a woman living in a third-story apartment.

Police believe that the shooting was related to a domestic dispute.

The girlfriend of the victim told News 12 that the dispute started between her girlfriend and a male friend. When the non-victim tried to get between the other two, she says that the male friend shot her girlfriend.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and is in stable condition.

Police are searching for a bald male suspect wearing all gray.
