A Brooklyn woman was charged after her 3-month-old baby was found living inside a filthy and disheveled apartment, police say.
Yasheameia Hamilton,35, was arrested and charged with child endangerment Thursday after police received a 911 call that her child was living in filthy conditions inside of her Nostrand New York City housing apartment.
Upon arrival, police say the apartment was in complete disarray, and it appeared the child had not been washed in several days.
Emergency responders evaluated the baby and found her covered in urine and feces. The child also had patches of dry and unclean skin.
Hamilton was arrested, and police say she has a prior arrest history including incidents related to domestic violence.
