Nor’easter cuts power to Throgs Neck residents

Thousands of Bronx residents were dealing with power outages during Friday's nor'easter.
The intense winds caused numerous trees and power lines to come down, including one near Miles and Calhoun Avenues in Throgs Necks that left dangling power lines.
Con Edison tells News 12 that it is working on the issue. Crews say they are prioritizing Throgs Neck in their repair work Friday afternoon.
Residents can see when their block will be repaired through Con Edison's online Outage Map.
According to the website, Throgs Neck residents could be without power into the overnight hours.
