Man accused of stealing packages, wallet from unlocked car

Surveillance video shows the moment a man steals packages and a wallet from an unlocked SUV in the Bronx.

The incident happened on March 3, outside 1753 Randall Ave. around 12:30 p.m.

Police say the suspected burglar got away with four packages and a wallet containing $60 and credit cards.

The 50-year-old man who owns the vehicle told police he was not inside of the vehicle at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
