A large tree that fell during the first nor'easter last Friday remains uncleaned from a Bronx street.
Neighbors in the community of Throgs Neck say the tree came down last Friday on Lawton Avenue and Throgs Neck Boulevard during the storm.
Downed trees and power lines were problems throughout the borough due to strong winds.
The tree also crashed into a parked car.  Live power lines were down and sidewalks sticking straight up into the air.
Luckily, one witness says no one was in the car when the tree was uprooted.
If it wasn’t enough, the second nor’easter that struck the region Wednesday has now blanketed the fallen tree in a coat of snow and ice.
The Parks Department told the ower of the car there is a list of streets with downed trees still waiting to be cleaned up.
She says the city did not give her an answer as to when they would remove the treet.
The area has since been blocked off and the road is impassable.
