Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez dropped in on some Bronx students Friday to teach them about property ownership in the neighborhoods they grew up in as part of the Project Destined program.
"Don't let the world define who you are," says Cedric Bobo, the creator of Project Destined, which aims to inspire kids to become real estate owners. "Define it for yourself."
Project Destined teaches Bronx teens about real estate, investments, financing and construction with the help of Harvard business professors.
And part of that involves pitching business proposals in front of a panel of judges -- Lopez and Rodriguez.
"The whole point is making business real," Bobo says.
Students who continue with the program can win scholarship money every quarter.
