Snow falls outside Yankee Stadium on opening day

The New York Yankees are expected to play their first home game of the 2018 season Monday, despite a snowy start.

Fans across the borough and beyond say they are excited to see the Bronx Bombers return to Yankee Stadium.

Snow began falling early Monday morning and is expected to leave behind a coating of snow.

News 12 meteorologists say the snow is expected to clear after 11 a.m.

Fans are especially excited to see what young players like Aaron Judge and new players like Giancarlo Stanton can bring to the table.

The Yankees are expected to play the Tampa Bay Rays at 1 p.m.
