Police seek man who broke into cars in Freeport

Police are looking for a man who broke into cars in Freeport overnight.
Neighbors on East Bedell street say they woke up Sunday to find that there were missing items from their cars.
Neighbors say the thieves didn't actually break any windows in any of the cars - they only went into the ones that were already open.
The incidents were caught on home surveillance video.
"The camera pointed to the end of the block. They just literally went in and out of every car. Took their time, not in a rush," said one neighbor.
Residents turned over the surveillance video to the police, and they are investigating.
Freeport Mayor Robert Kennedy confirms that at least three cars were missing things.
