FDNY: Fatal Morrisania fire was intentionally set

One man was killed after his apartment was intentionally set on fire, officials say.

Russell Henry, 35, died after a fire ripped through the first floor of his 808 Freeman St. apartment  around 11:30 p.m. Monday, police confirmed.

Fire officials tell News 12 the NYPD is now investigating to determine if the fire is a homicide case.

A medical examiner will determine Henry's exact cause of death.
