Lehman students return from enlightening trip to Cuba

Forty-six Lehman College students say their spring break trip to Cuba was an experience they will never forget.
It was Lehman’s first trip to the country since the school launched a partnership with two Cuban universities in February.
The students conducted research, took classes and created connections with their peers in Cuba.
Professor Teresita Levy said she knew the trip would be a great opportunity for her students to grow.
“It was wonderful to see them deal with a new environment,” said Levy. She said the students learned the “value of humanity in a very different way.”
