Rats prompt complaints from NYCHA’s Claremont Houses tenant

A tenant of NYCHA's Claremont Houses says rats are infesting her apartment and the rest of the building.
Deyanira Rodriquez, 24, says she reported her findings to NYCHA to no avail.
And there are other problems, too, she says: mice and bugs and problems with the windows and fire escapes.
Rodriquez's complaint comes weeks after the mayor launched an aggressive, multimillion-dollar rat extermination campaign at 10 of the most-infested NYCHA complexes.
The Claremont Houses aren't on that list.
Rodriquez also says she has lupus and the conditions worsen her condition.
News 12 has reached out to the city's public housing authority for a response.
