People protest in honor of May Day

People around the world called for better workers’ rights Tuesday in honor of May Day.
In New York, demonstrators, along with New York Communities for Change, marched on Wall Street to demand better working conditions for labor workers.
In Puerto Rico, thousands joined the march protesting pension cuts, school closures and slow hurricane recovery efforts.
In Cuba, protesters came to the Revolution Square in Havana, headed by President Miguel Díaz-Canel, the first General Secretary of the Communist Party and former President Raúl Castro. The demonstrations demanded the end of the embargo that the United States imposed on Cuba several decades ago.
