Rally for Peace held in Norwood

Bronx residents, police, church members and others called for an end to community violence at a peace rally in Norwood.

Friday evening's event at Reservoir Oval E, and featured speeches from community leaders as well soloists and a Christian rapper.

Organizers and attendees hope the rally could be the start of a borough-wide movement.

The rally was put together in part by members of Good News Christian Church, the 52nd Precinct Community Police and Glad Tidings Church.
