Australian ambassador visits Icahn School students

The Australian ambassador to the United Nations visited students at Icahn Charter School Four Thursday.

Ambassador Gillian Bird met with seventh-grade students who are part of the New York City Junior Ambassadors program.

"We say a lot about youth at the UN," Bird says. "But an important slogan is 'talk with youth, not about youth.'"

More than 100 schools and organizations submitted applications for the program. Icahn is among 20 winners.
