Police mobile command unit stands to combat K2 use in Brooklyn

Police are back outside a troubled Bushwick intersection Wednesday after multiple people overdosed on K2.
More than 50  people over the past few days have overdosed on the batch of synthetic marijuana.
Police are calling the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Broadway in Bushwick the "epicenter" of the overdoses.
Officers were stationed outside a mobile command post Tuesday at the Big Boy Deli, and across the street near Jefferson Avenue.
Elected officials say K2 is illegal but it can be bought on the streets. Business owners selling K2 can lose their license to sell cigarettes.
Police say three of the locations where overdoses occurred are homeless shelters.
They say they will remain on the streets until the area is clean.
Police ask anyone with information on the K2 distributor to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
