Columbus Magnet School holds cultural fair

The Columbus Magnet School held its 12th annual Culture and Heritage Fair, where students could take a trip around the world without having to leave their school.
Second-graders researched their heritage and presented projects based on their backgrounds, and students from other grades got a chance to visit the fair and experience international food, music and games.
Teachers said that the project gives students a sense of pride in who they are, while also learning about others.
Over 30 countries and states were represented during the event.
