Wet weather puts a damper on Memorial Day weekend

HUNTS POINT -

After a sunny and summer-like Saturday, rainfall has moved into the area for Sunday.

Commuters lined up on Hunts Point Avenue catching the bus and subway well prepared with umbrellas.

Heavy downpours are expected throughout the day with temperatures falling to the low 60s and possibly even the upper 50s.

As for Memorial Day, News 12 meteorologists are expecting clouds but sun later in the day.
